Holiday blues

It's not just the beautiful french riviera weather that i'm missing when I wake up to the grey clouds and chilly British weather. But it's eating freshly baked croissants from local patisseries, taking scenic walks down to the small yet perfectly formed beach coves, and that peaceful sound of quiet chatter, laugher, and clinking glasses of outdoor dining in the town square.

I enjoyed nothing more than strolling through the art filled harbour of Saint Tropez whilst eating a lemon sorbet ice cream, followed by visits to local boutiques stacked crammed full with beautiful silk scarves, luxurious leather bags and delicate metallic sandals and of course laying by the side of the infinity pool, overlooking the clear blue sea, reading Vogue with the more than occasional and ever so elegant belly flop into the water to cool down.

So returning home to the reality of work by day and student finance forms, dentist appointments and the ultimate joy of dog walking at silly o'clock in the morning truly hit home. But whilst editing a few holiday snaps (all obviously with that clear meditaranian blue sky), I realised how beautiful France really is. Next stop Paris please!

So here's just a few of my highlighs...

The Sun, Sea & Sand.

The food.

The streets.

And Finally the fashion...

Hermes
Fendi
Dior

Roberto Cavalli

Time flies far too fast when your having fun in the sun... Until next time!

Hope you've all enjoyed your summer, now make way for beautiful knits, knee high boots and Faux fur jackets (I've got my eyes on a Topshop beauty!).
